Kids are our future - it is a simple formula. Tennis provides fantastic pathway's for children, a few may aspire to become international players , many will become good players with a well developed sense of friendship with both fellow children and adults. KidsZone tip no 1. One of the most often repeated mistake we see in young children is that goal setting is done with a very short term approach. It is harder in a small state like Tasmania, we become fixated on one or two individuals rather than longer term goal setting where we "reach for the stars" . So next time your on the court imagine the player on the other side is somebody totally new, a famous player perhaps, and see if you can turn the tables on them. Sounds too easy? try it, Tennis is 80% in the mind according to many famous players.
